Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains your rights regarding subscriptions to MIRA services, including how to cancel your subscription and request refunds where applicable.

Motorsync Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is committed to ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent policies for all users.

1. Free Plan

MIRA offers a Free Plan that provides access to core features at no cost. The Free Plan:

  • Does not require payment information to sign up
  • Can be used indefinitely at no charge
  • Can be cancelled at any time by deleting your account
  • No refund is applicable as no payment is made

Free forever: Our Free Plan will always remain free. You will never be automatically upgraded to a paid plan without your explicit consent.

2. Premium Subscription

For dealers who require additional features, we offer Premium subscriptions:

Subscription Terms

  • Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on your chosen plan
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
  • Price changes: We will notify you at least 30 days before any price increases. You may cancel before the new price takes effect
  • Trial periods: If a free trial is offered, you will be notified before any charges apply

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • Direct Debit (for annual subscriptions)
  • Bank transfer (for enterprise customers)

3. Cancellation Process

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time. Here's how:

Log in to your MIRA Portal → Settings → Subscription → Cancel Subscription

📧 Via Email

Send a cancellation request to billing@motorsync.co.uk from your registered email address

📞 Via Phone

Contact our support team during business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm)

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will retain access to Premium features until the subscription expires
  • Your account will automatically revert to the Free Plan
  • Your data will be retained and accessible on the Free Plan
  • You can resubscribe at any time

4. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

Eligible for Refund

  • 14-day cooling-off period: New subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days of their first payment, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
  • Service unavailability: If our services were significantly unavailable during your billing period (more than 48 consecutive hours)
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times in error
  • Technical issues: If a technical issue on our end prevented you from using the service

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Cancellation after the 14-day cooling-off period (except where required by law)
  • Dissatisfaction with features that were accurately described at sign-up
  • Failure to cancel before auto-renewal (though we will honour immediate cancellation)
  • Account suspension due to violation of our Terms of Service

Pro-rata refunds: For annual subscriptions cancelled after the 14-day period, we may offer pro-rata refunds on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances.

5. How to Request a Refund

Please include the following information in your request:

  • Your account email address
  • Date of the charge you are requesting a refund for
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant supporting information

6. Processing Time

Once your refund request is approved:

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the transaction.
